Brief Overview

Dr. Kurt Schwindl is owner of the Professorship in Industrial Analytics and Technical Logistics with focus on Material Flow Optimization and Simulation at the University of Applied Sciences of Würzburg-Schweinfurt at the faculty of Business & Engineering. He is Programme Director of the Business & Industrial Engineering Master’s Degree Programme and holds lectures for the Logistics and Industrial Engineering Course of Studies. He received a Ph.D. in Mathematical Statistics and Data Sciences. His special fields of interest and research are Data Based Process Optimization and Industrial Analytics. As a former Senior Operations Research Analyst and a Senior Quality Manager at MAN SE, he is a leading expert on the subject of statistical and quantitative methods for analyzing, modelling and optimization of logistics and production processes and technical industrial systems.
